Warwick 2012 Thumb Bass SC Broadneck Germany w/ Orig Case Near Mint

This 2012 German-built Thumb Bass SC Broadneck is in excellent condition throughout — body, neck, fretboard, hardware, and electronics all present without issue.  It plays effortlessly and resonates incredibly!

The Thumb Bass SC (Single Cutaway) Broadneck is a less common variant of Warwick's flagship Thumb line. The broadneck designation increases string spacing at the nut to 2.2" and at the bridge to 3.235", making it more accessible to players with larger hands or those transitioning from a wider-spaced instrument. German Warwick production — as opposed to the Rockbass line — carries the higher-grade tonewoods and hardware specifications the brand built its reputation on through the 1990s and 2000s. The Tigerstripe Ebony fretboard, flamed maple neck with Ekanga veneer stripes, Graph Tech Ratio machine heads, and brass nut are all consistent with German-production spec. At 26 frets and a 47" fretboard radius, this is set up for extended upper-register work. The 11 lbs 5.5 oz weight is on the heavier side and worth noting for players who are weight-sensitive.

The bass has no repairs, non-original parts, or condition issues. Body finish, neck finish, fretboard, frets, hardware, and electronics are all in excellent condition. Action is 3/32" on both the first and fifth strings at the 12th fret. The original Warwick flight case is included and is also in excellent condition with no odor.

The case for the bass is large and heavy, so the shipping cost will be significant on this instrument.  The original shipping box will be used for shipping to the new owner.
