This late 1960s Vox Phantom XII Stereo 12-string electric guitar is a rare and iconic piece of British Invasion-era history.

Featuring the unmistakable teardrop body shape, dual single-coil pickups, and stereo output capability, the Phantom XII delivers jangly, chiming tones that defined the sound of the '60s.

Made in Italy by Eko for Vox, this model combines retro style with unique electronics and smooth playability. Perfect for collectors or players seeking that authentic vintage 12-string shimmer.

This example remains in excellent condition.  The pickguard is a very nicely done reproduction.  The original guards for these guitars were troublesome - they are prone to shrinking and cracking. 

Someone also went to the extreme length to swap out all the original pots (which are pretty cheesy), perhaps when the pickguard got swapped out.  All the original pots are in the original case.  

The necks on these Italian Vox guitars always need a big shim to play well, as is the case here.  The truss rod is effective.

There are two shipping cost options for purchases made on our site for these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.  Select Standard shipping at checkout and your item will be shipped via UPS three-day-air.  Select Economy shipping and your item will ship via UPS ground.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
