This Strymon Lex Rotary Pedal is in near mint condition and was tested in our shop prior to listing.
The Lex is Strymon's take on the classic rotary speaker effect, modeled after the sound of a Leslie cabinet with a spinning horn and drum rotor. It uses Strymon's DSP platform to reproduce the characteristic pitch modulation, amplitude swirl, and cabinet resonance that defines the rotary sound — without the weight or maintenance of the real thing. The pedal covers everything from slow, warm chorus-like movement to fast, driven Leslie overdrive tones, making it useful for organ-style keyboard work as well as guitar.
The Lex offers two speed modes (Slow and Fast) with continuously variable ramp time between them, a Brake function that stops the rotor and lets it spin back up, and a Drive control that adds rotor overdrive. The Clean/Dirty switch selects between two amp voicings within the effect. A mono input and stereo output configuration lets players take advantage of the full left-right spread of the rotary simulation. The pedal operates on standard 9V DC power (center-negative) and accepts up to 18V for increased headroom.
