The PRS McCarty Archtop is a light, resonant guitar that is a pleasure to play.  This example weighs just 5 pounds, 13 ounces, so it hangs on your strap like a feather.  

The shape isn't unique, per se, carrying the consummate PRS profile, but with a deep, hollow body that bonds the carve, solid spruce top to the maple back with a solid maple block behind the bridge.  This gives you the ring and richness of a hollow guitar with the benefit of a stop bar bridge - a combo that gives you great tone.

The guitar looks classy in black, and the guitar is in excellent condition throughout.  It was well cared for and it is obvious that it wasn't played much in its 26 years. 

There are no changes, repairs or issues whatsoever.  The frets show no measurable wear.  The truss rod has room for future neck relief adjustment.  The guitar stays in tune like no other.  It is a gigging machine!

Included is the original hardshell case.  There is no case candy or paperwork, but the guitar stands on its own.

Shipping policy:

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
