SOLD - National Glenwood 99 Map Guitar 1962
$0.00Visually, one of the coolest guitars made by mankind! This is a first-year example.
The Glenwood 99 incorporates two standard pickups as well as a third, built into the bridge. Combining the bridge with the other pickups ads a bright twang, similar to a Strat.
This guitar is all original and includes the original, shaped hardshell case.
The neck binding has the "rot" symptom seen on Gretsches of the era. Otherwise it is in excellent condition and definitely worthy of repair by a quality luthier.
The neck is true and very playable - not something that can be said for many of these National models.
