This Mesa Boogie 1995 Blue Angel Dual Rectifier 2x10" Combo is in excellent condition.
The Blue Angel is a switchable-wattage EL84/6V6 combo — 15, 33, or 38 watts depending on the mode — which gives it an unusually wide dynamic range for a combo of this size. The 2x10" cabinet is built from marine-grade Baltic birch plywood, and the speakers are Eminence Alnico units (model 10714) built specifically for Mesa Boogie, which is an uncommon pairing for this platform and contributes meaningfully to the amp's voice. The transformers are all Schumacher units built for Mesa, with the power and output transformers dating to week 25 of 1994 and the reverb transformer to week 30 of 1994, consistent with mid-nineties production.
The covering, cabinet, grille, baffle, knobs, handle, potentiometers, filter caps, reverb tank, and speakers are all original. There are no internal repairs and no chassis repairs or modifications. The one honest note: some numbers and letters on the faceplate are worn — see photos — which is normal for a working amp of this age and doesn't affect function. The leather handle shows typical wear. Otherwise this is a clean, unmodded, all-original example. We tested all the tubes and cleaned the pots & tube sockets before listing.

Shipping Policy
By completing your purchase you are agreeing to this shipping policy. Shipments require signature on delivery, no exceptions. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely. If there is damage, retain all packing materials intact, photograph them immediately, and send the photos to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. Vintage amplifiers (20 years or older) are sold as-is — all amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
