The 1959 Super Lead Pedal is Marshall's take on their own iconic 100-watt Super Lead amplifier circuit, built into a stompbox format. This example is in excellent condition but it is missing the battery cover.
The circuit is designed to replicate the gain structure and harmonic character of that amp running at full volume — the kind of saturated, mid-forward British crunch associated with the original 1959 head. As a pedal, it runs on standard power and delivers that compressed, harmonically dense drive character into any amp or signal chain.
Marshall developed the 1959 Super Lead Pedal as part of their Pedl series of amp-in-a-box designs, giving players access to the tonal architecture of the 1959 Super Lead without the logistics of a full stack. The pedal's controls mirror the feel of the original amp's gain and volume staging. The PEDL-92001 designation identifies this as the standard production version of the pedal. We have no additional specification data on hand — controls, power requirements, and dimensions follow Marshall's standard documentation for this model, which is readily available through Marshall's support resources.
