This 1985 Marshall JCM 800 Model 1933 1x12 Cabinet is a rare find that is in very good condition.

The Model 1933 is a compact, sealed 1x12 extension cabinet designed to pair with Marshall's JCM 800 head lineup. The combination of a solid birch plywood enclosure and a single Celestion G12M 70 speaker produces a focused, tight low end with the characteristic midrange punch associated with 12-inch Celestion drivers — well suited to high-gain and classic British tones alike.

The Model 1933 was part of Marshall's JCM 800 series, which defined the sound of 1980s rock. The enclosure is constructed entirely from solid plywood — Baltic birch — which contributes to both rigidity and resonance. The cabinet handles up to 65 watts at 16 ohms. The Celestion G12M 70 speaker is labeled "Type: T3577",  and there is a code stamped on the cone: 2712,  The cabinet badge says that the power rating is 65 watts, but it is common for these cabs to have 70 or 75 watt G12M speakers from the factory.  The black tolex covering, black grille cloth, rubber handle, plywood baffle, and cabinet itself are all original and unmodified, with no repairs or changes noted to any component.

The cabinet condition is very good with wear from honest use, the grille is very good, the baffle is very good, and the speaker is in excellent condition.

Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. Vintage amplifiers (20 years or older) are sold as-is — all amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
