The JHS Bonsai is a nine-mode overdrive pedal that consolidates the essential circuit variants of the Screamer family — from the original JRC4558D-based TS808 through the TS9, TS10, TS7, and several boutique and modified interpretations — into a single compact unit via a rotary selector. Each mode is a faithful recreation of a distinct component configuration, not a software approximation, so the tonal differences between positions are real and audible. This example is in excellent condition and comes with its original box.

JHS released the Bonsai in 2018, and it immediately drew attention from players who wanted access to the full spectrum of Screamer-derived tones without owning nine separate pedals. The pedal covers the circuit of the original Maxon OD-880, the TS808, the TS9, the TS9DX, the OD-1, the TS10, the TS7, the Modified TS9, and the JHS Strong Mod — each selected by the rotary knob. For collectors and working players alike, it represents a well-documented and respected approach to the overdrive format. No version or year of manufacture was specified for this unit.
