The Silvertone Twin Twelve Preamp is a dedicated preamp pedal that captures the character of the classic Silvertone Twin Twelve amplifier circuit.  As a preamp/overdrive pedal, it is designed to push the front end of a clean amplifier or serve as a direct recording tool, delivering that particular sag and warmth associated with vintage low-wattage American circuits.

Jackson Audio built the Silvertone Twin Twelve Preamp as a faithful circuit interpretation rather than a generic overdrive. The pedal is designed to respond dynamically to picking attack and guitar volume in the way the original amplifier does, with controls voiced to match the limited but effective EQ structure of the source amp. Jackson Audio is known for precise, high-quality circuit execution, and this unit reflects that standard.
