Hohner 1985 "The Prinz" Tele with Hard Case, Excellent

This Hohner 1985 "The Prinz" Tele in natural is in excellent condition.

Per our notes, "The Prinz" is modeled after the HS Anderson Madcat guitar made famous by Prince. This one has the early Fender-style headstock that led to legal issues and a later redesign. The body is a 3-piece ash core with flamed maple top and back, a walnut center strip and tortoise shell binding, in a natural finish. The neck and fretboard are Canadian hard rock maple with a slim C profile, 9.5" radius and black dot inlays.

Both pickups are HP single-coil GS-1 units (4.77k neck, 4.75k bridge). Everything is original except the Gotoh locking tuners, including the finish, pickguard, bridge, saddles, switch, pickups, wiring, pots and knobs. There are no repairs to the neck, fretboard or frets, and the frets are excellent. It has been set up in our shop with 2/32" action at the 12th fret on 10-46 strings, and it weighs 7 lbs 11 oz.

It ships in a generic case in very good condition, not the original.
