Guild 1980 D-50NT Acoustic All Original w/ Hard Case, Excellent

This Guild 1980 D-50NT in natural is in excellent condition.  This era of Guild guitars is solid - the guitars are well built and seem to have greater consistency than their earlier counterparts.  This one sounds and plays fantastic.

The D-50NT is a dreadnought built with a solid spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and an ebony or very dark/stained rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays. The nut is bone, the saddle is bone, and the scale length is 25-5/8". Tuners are original Guild closed-gear machines. The fretboard radius is 12" and the neck profile is a C shape.

The important things are original— finish, tuners, nut (shimmed during a reftret), pickguard, bridge, and saddle are all unaltered. There are no repairs to the neck or the fretboard.  There is some light fretboard pitting in the lower register and the frets do show some wear that does not require work.  A professional refret was performed at some point in the guitar's life. There is a ding on the back of the neck behind the 3rd fret. The top shows finish checking and some worn spots; the top binding also has some worn spots — see photos. We set it up here in the shop; action is 3/32" on the first string and 3/32" on the sixth string at the 12th fret. Frets are in good condition.

The included Guild case appears to be original and it is in good condition with no smell.
