This Gretsch Electromatic Classic G5422T in black with gold hardware is in excellent condition. It comes with a nice TKL case. The G5422T is a fully hollow, double-cutaway thinline archtop built on a 5-ply laminated maple body — a construction that delivers the chime and warmth expected from a Gretsch hollowbody while keeping feedback more manageable than a deeper-body instrument. The 24.5" scale and maple neck contribute brightness and articulation, and the rosewood fretboard adds a modest warmth to the high end. At 6 lbs 12.5 oz, it's a comfortable player for longer sets.

The G5422T features Gretsch's aged white multi-ply binding, pearloid hump block inlays, and a gold pickguard — appointments that set it apart from the plainer Electromatic offerings. The neck carries a standard U profile measuring .809" at the 1st fret and .923" at the 12th, with a 12" fretboard radius and a Graph Tech NuBone nut at 1.6875" width. The bridge is a secured Adjusto-Matic with a rosewood base, paired with a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece in gold. Both pickups are original Blacktop Filter'Tron humbuckers — 4.21k at the neck and 4.35k at the bridge — with black and gold covers. All electronics are original: wiring, 4 potentiometers, 3-position toggle switch, output jack, and gold knobs are all as-built. The finish is original and in excellent condition. All hardware — tuners with pearloid hump block buttons, bridge, Bigsby, pickguard, and all associated screws — is original.

There are no repairs, changes, or issues with this instrument. Frets are excellent. We set the guitar up here in the shop with the action at 2/32" on the 1st string and 2/32" on the 6th string at the 12th fret. The TKL case is included and is in very good condition.
