A player's example of the Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe that truly is a player.
The guitar has seen a little work but has no structural repairs or finish issues. At first glance it looks like a completely original, near mint piece.
The work that has been done includes a nice refret. Tuners were once changed to Schallers, then to recent Gibson Deluxe tuners. The pickups and pots are original, however one of the pickup wires has been spliced with similar but not vintage shielded wire. One of the pickup covers was removed and returned. The bridges are reproduction pieces. A slight bit of soldering has been done in the pickup cavity. The output jack plate has been changed to a chrome one. It also looks like some of the inlays were replaced.
The rest of the guitar is original - the pickguard, pots, knobs, pickups, back plates, switch, and pickup rings.
The neck is perfect, allowing us to set the guitar up with low action. The truss rod has room for future adjustment if needed.
The original case is included. A piece of the plastic trim has shrunk and has been re-fastened with screws. The latches, handle and hinges are all working fine.

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
