This is a great player's guitar that retains the original pickup and pots along with changed tuners, bridge, tailpiece, and tuners.  

The Gibson ES-125TC is the thinline cutaway version of the ES-125 — a fully hollow single-cutaway archtop with a single dog-ear P-90 in the neck position, laminated maple construction, and the warm, woody character that makes fully hollow Gibson archtops from this era so distinct from the semi-hollow ES-335 family. Introduced in 1960, the ES-125TC occupied an accessible price point in the Gibson thinline lineup while delivering genuine P-90 tone in a comfortable, lightweight body. At 5 lbs 3 oz this is an exceptionally light playing experience that rewards extended sessions.

The original dog-ear P-90 reads 8.26k — correct, healthy, and original. Original pots and original wiring and solder joints are all intact. The original tortoiseshell pickguard is in very good condition. The finish shows deep checking and signs of moisture exposure across the body — no cracks, structural integrity intact, but the lacquer has been affected and this is visible in the photos and priced into the instrument accordingly.

Several non-original parts are clearly disclosed: the tuners are generic reproductions with headstock modification for the new mounting holes. The bridge is a replacement. The tailpiece is a generic reproduction. The knobs are non-original. A strap button has been added at the neck heel. None of these affect the instrument's playability or tonal character — the heart of the guitar, the original P-90, pots, and wiring, is fully intact. Mahogany neck in C profile at .816" at the first fret and 1.105" at the tenth — notably thick at the tenth fret, consistent with mid-1960s Gibson neck profiles. Rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets in good condition, bone nut. Action set at 2/32" on both strings at the twelfth fret. Non-original TKL hardshell case included.
