This Gibson "Beauty Of The Burst" Page 40 Dealer Select Les Paul 1959 Reissue is an excellent example in Lemon Burst. It comes with the original Gibson case and all the paperwork. This beautiful axe weighs in at 8 lbs 6.5 oz.

This Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard is a Dealer Select re-creation of the iconic guitar featured on page 40 of The Beauty of the ’Burst - a book that showcases original Gibson Les Paul guitars from their golden era. Pickups are the original Gibson Patent # humbuckers, reading 7.84k at the neck and 7.98k at the bridge — well-matched and in the range associated with the original PAF-era output. The previous owner removed the nickel pickup covers, they are included in the case. All electronics are original: wiring, potentiometers (4), 3-way toggle switch, output jack, and control cavity cover. Hardware is original throughout — Gibson ABR-1 bridge with original metal saddles, chrome stop bar tailpiece, and Gibson Deluxe tuners with no headstock modifications. The finish is original.

The nut has been replaced; the original nut is included. The guitar has been refretted with jumbo frets; the original frets are included. Fret condition is excellent. Beyond those two items, and the removed pickup covers there are no other repairs or changes. We set the guitar up here in the shop with the action at 2/32" on the 1st string and 2/32" on the 6th string at the 12th fret, strung with 10–52s. The original Gibson case is included in excellent condition with that new case smell. Documentation includes COA, hang tags, and related paperwork.
