SOLD - Martin Style 1-C Concert Ukulele 1940s
$0.00No sales tax for customers outside California.
Martin's ukuleles stand out in their craftsmanship, and especially in their tone. This example stands to reinforce that statement. The uke is so light and packs a punch!
The checking in the pictures looks severe - that is something the lights in our photo room case. The uke is so clean looking in person.
It is difficult to find Martin ukes in this condition. There are no changes, cracks or repairs whatsoever. The only small knock is that the binding has shrunk a bit at the waist - see the pics. A luthier could easily remedy this, and continued proper storage should keep it from changing.
The uke came to me with a beat up case. I have a new Gator case on the way. It should be here by Monday Feb 7th I think. I would probably wait to ship it until the new case arrives. The strings seem good, but you might want to put a new set on - I just don't have any around.
