Now here's a rare "bird" up for consideration a 100% original 1964 Gibson Firebird V with the original hard shell case...WOW!!! Sporting a pair of Gibson PAT. NO. mini-humbuckers and the classic Gibson Maestro Lyre tremolo!

She's been played and loved on in her life, and it shows it, with 58 years of authentic "relic-ing" :)

As is the case with most Firebirds, this example has signs of stress at the transition from the headstock to the neck.  There was never a complete break, and the area did receive professional attention - a bit of glue, which shows up on the treble side of the neck under a blacklight.  There is no finish overspray and the area is 100% stable. With just 510 made in 1964, the reverse Firebird V is a rare guitar and this one being 100% original just adds to it's rarity and makes her very desirable indeed.

Shipping for this instrument will be negotiated with the buyer.  I must insist on expedited shipping so it is not subject to abuse in the hands of the shipper.  The cost will be relatively significant.  Overseas shipping options may be limited or non existent.
