SOLD - Fender Telecaster TL-69 1969 reissue Pink Paisley 1997
$0.00Originally listed as a 2006, further investigation revealed a combination of several things that somewhat cloud the actual date of manufacture. The serial number could place the guitar from 1985 or 1986, along with the "Made in Japan" mark on the neck heel. The A serial number on the bridge could be from 1997 or 1998, but this is usually only the case if the neck heel says "Crafted in Japan". The back of the headstock bears the Fender 50th Anniversary stocker, however, which would date it to no earlier than 1996. There are no pencil date marks or date stamps in the body cavities or on the neck heel, something I see being universal on this model.
So, we're going to call this a 1997 just to play it safe.
This Fender Pink Paisley Telecaster 69 reissue just came in and as far as "vintage vibe" goes, not too many other guitars are quite as unique! Made in Japan in small numbers purely for sale in Japan these guitars are rarely seen outside of their home country except in these small FSR runs.
Using a classic slab style Telecaster body made out of Basswood and a 1 piece maple neck with a Rosewood stripe has already been modified with a Dimarzio Custom Shop PAF style humbucker in the neck position, please see photos. This guitar is ready to rock the way it is with nearly full fret life left!
The nice addition of a Fender tweed hard-shell case is included.
