SOLD - Hamer USA Standard One of a Kind 12 String Explorer 2007

I've moved through some really amazing US made Hamer guitars of late, and this one of a kind USA Standard is no exception.  

The certificate shows that it was custom ordered in 2007.  The headstock is the same shape as Hamer's iconic 12 string bass.  The original owner's name is blocked out with a sticky note but is still intact.

I've been in the business on and off since the early 90's and throughout all that time I hadn't handled, bought or sold one USA made Hamer.  This recent trend has been great for me, a real education on just how remarkably awesome their guitars are.  The fit and finish is impeccable, outwardly and under the hood.  Fret work is wonderful.  The necks are all straight and true.  They really are a pleasure to play, and it is clear to me now why the company has always had a hardcore following.

This Standard falls right into my description above.  All around, it is an extremely well crafted guitar. 

The only possible change from being 100% original is some very light work on the back of the neck.  The shine of the finish has been buffed down for a smoother feel, perhaps with ultra light steel wool.  I don't imagine that it is factory work, but who knows.  While I wouldn't have done this myself, it is a playability enhancement. 

Otherwise the guitar is 100% original with all the original paperwork.  There are no changes, repairs or issues with the guitar whatsoever.  It appears to be nearly new with the exception of the back of the neck.

This guitar has the biggest solidbody guitar case I've ever seen.  Overseas buyers will need to request a shipping quote prior to purchase as options will be limited and shipping will be very expensive.  I have put the same shipping cost to ship in the US as I put on a bass guitar.
