No Sales Tax For Customers Outside Of California.
If someone in the Pacific Northwest is interested in the amp, we will have a van leaving Chico, CA early in April for the Seattle area. Local pickup or shipment on that van through Oregon to Washington State. A handling fee would cover the cost of shipping.
We could also bring the amp to Nashville for the vintage guitar show, the weekend of March 25th. A handling fee would cover the cost of shipping to Nashville. Pickup would have to be made in Franklin, Tennessee.
This is a really fine example of a Pre CBS Super Reverb.
The amp is in excellent or better condition. The transformers, tolex, grille, speakers, footswitch and much of the amp's circuit are original.
The filter caps have been updated and the tech who did the work retained the old cap sleeves, hiding the newer, smaller caps inside to keep the vintage look. The same was done in the circuit - look at the large Astron caps - the new caps are inside them.
The amp runs really well, likely due to the professionally performed service. All tubes are brand new JJs except for one 12AT7.
It is getting harder to find clean pre CBS Supers. If you're looking for one, this just might be the ticket!
Shipping is expensive for these. We spend a LOT of time packing them. Also, I always remove the chassis for shipping so that the heavy transformers don't distort the chassis or stress the cab if the box gets manhandled in shipping. Be prepared, there will be some assembly required when you receive the amp. It isn't that hard to get the amp together, and I can help if needed.
