Here we have another beautiful Pre CBS Fender!

At first glance, this appears to be a near mint example.  There are a couple things to discuss however.  The nut has seen some work but appears to be original.  Someone re-slotted it and added some dust/glue to build up the slots, as is common practice.  Playability is not compromised - this is probably the best playing Mustang I've ever tried with killer action all the way up.

There are some small finish touch ups on the body.  It appears that someone just couldn't handle the small handful of dings that the body took and they touched them up.  This is old work and is pretty hard to notice really - see the pics.

Under the hood, all solders are original.  The entire guitar is original actually.  The odd thing is that there are two small areas of routing that was done after the finish was applied.  This does appear to be factory work however, because no solders are changed and there is no dues in any of the cavitied that would have been left behind from this work.  To do this, all electronics and the pickguard would have had to be removed, if it was done after the final guitar assembly.  Odd, but that is my assessment.

Original trem arm included.  Pickguard shows little shrinkage,  Just a little wear on the back of the neck for that killer feel we all love.  Original case included.
