This Fender 2025 Custom Shop MVP 50's Thinline Telecaster TV Jones Pickups in Natural Journeyman is in mint condition.

This is one of the more interesting Custom Shop Telecaster configurations Fender has offered — the MVP (Most Valuable Player) series typically means a higher level of spec and builder input than a standard production run, and this example backs that up in the details. The neck is quartersawn maple in a 5/4 V profile, running .86" at the first fret and .96" at the twelfth, with 22 narrow/tall 6105 frets on a 9.5" radius maple board with micarta black dot inlays. The body is a lightly chambered ash thinline in a natural Journeyman relic finish on a 2-piece off-center blank that comes in at just 6 lbs 12.5 oz. Rather than standard Tele single-coils, Fender spec'd a pair of TV Jones Filter'Tron humbuckers — neck reading 3.89k, bridge at 4.78k — which pair with the MVP's S1-switching setup (MVP Tele SS 250/500k S1) to give you considerably more tonal range than a stock Telecaster wiring scheme. The Fender logo Bigsby B-5 tailpiece rounds out a spec sheet that reads more like a custom order than an off-the-shelf build.

Everything here is original and unaltered. No finish touch-ups, no refrets, no repairs of any kind to body, neck, or fretboard. Frets are listed excellent, the rest of the guitar is mint throughout — body, neck, fretboard, pickups, hardware, controls, and cavity. The single-ply brown shell pickguard shows a touch less than mint (listed excellent) but is original and uncracked. Action is set at 2/32" on both the first and sixth string at the twelfth fret. All solder joints, wiring, and potentiometers are original.

This guitar ships in its original mint G&G case with no odor. Full documentation is included: COA, shop traveler, hang tags, and a strap is also in the case.
