This 1969 Fender Deluxe Reverb is a "drip-edge" example that has been fully serviced prior to listing.  It is running perfectly.  The amp is in great shape, functionally, and shows some honest wear that'll allow you to take it out and run it without the concern connected with a stupid clean, vintage amp.   You get 22 watts through a pair of 6V6 power tubes into a Weber Blue 12-A — a speaker designed to replicate the character of the original blue Jensen alnico of the 1960s. The Deluxe's focused, harmonically rich mid-range, responsive dynamics at manageable volume, and reverb and vibrato circuits that remain among the most usable ever put in a production amplifier.

The drip-edge Deluxe Reverb covers roughly 1967–1969, identified by the silver drip-edge trim around the grille cloth. This is a sought-after variants of the model — late enough to benefit from refined production, early enough to carry the original cosmetics and construction. All transformers are original Schumacher units: the power transformer codes to the 5th week of 1969, the choke to the 30th week of 1968, the output transformer to the 3rd week of 1969, and the reverb transformer to the 51st week of 1968. The original reverb tank is in place. The potentiometers, chassis, cabinet, baffle, handle, tolex, and knobs are all original. The rectifier runs a GT 5AR4, preamp tubes are a mix of EHX, Fender-branded, and JJ — 12AT7, 12AX7, ECC81, 7025, and ECC83. We tested all the tubes so you don't end up with a replacement expense right off the bat.  The power cable is grounded.

The grille cloth is original blue sparkle and rated fair — expect visible wear consistent with 55-plus years of use; examine the photos closely. The cabinet and baffle are both rated excellent with no repairs. The chassis is very good with no repairs or modifications noted. The speaker is a Weber Blue 12-A replacement — the original speaker is not present. Filter, bypass and bias caps have been replaced. The footswitch is a new replacement.

Shipping Policy
By completing your purchase you are agreeing to this shipping policy. Shipments require signature on delivery, no exceptions. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely. If there is damage, retain all packing materials intact, photograph them immediately, and send the photos to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.

Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. Vintage amplifiers (20 years or older) are sold as-is — all amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
