Fender 1964 Super Reverb Pre CBS with Footswitch & Cover, Excellent

This Fender Pre CBS, 1964 Super Reverb in black is in condition.  It has been serviced and is ready to rock for years.  The original Victoria Luggage Co. cover is included and is in very good condition. 

The Super Reverb runs 40 watts through four 10" CTS speakers (manufacturer code 137, date code 446). The power, choke, output, and reverb transformers are all Schumacher (code 606), dating to 1963–1964. Onboard reverb and vibrato are both present. The power cable is hard-wired and grounded.  The original footswitch is included.

All electrolytic caps have been updated and a grounded power cable added.  I go through each amp, top to bottom, to make sure everything is running correctly.  The tubes were all tested, the pots and tube sockets cleaned, and all the nuts tightened on the pots and jacks.  The amp was benched to check the output trace and to set bias.  It runs perfectly.  Everything else here is original — the cabinet, baffle, chassis, tolex covering, grille, knobs, handle, speakers, reverb tank, all four transformers, pots, and power cable are all unaltered. The rectifier tube is a GZ34 (brand unknown); power tubes are a pair of GT 6L6s; preamp tubes are a mix of JJ, GE, and Fender-branded 12AT7s and 12AX7s.
