Fender 1960 Telecaster Relic John Cruz Masterbuilt Inca Silver 2004$8,150.00
No sales tax for customers outside California.
The twin to the Cruz Strat from 2004 that came in at the same time as this amazing Tele.
John Cruz made some of the finest Custom Show Fender guitars during his tenure. This one is a very tasteful, lightly relic'd masterpiece.
The guitar seems to have come with a stock 4 way switch. The solders all look original and it has hardly been played, having been stashed by the original owner. I find it somewhat far fetched that someone would buy this guitar new and stash it, only to modify it before doing so.
The weight is just one part of what makes this a special guitar, weighing in at just 6lbs 10.8 ounces. The finish is dreamy, as is the crazily flamed neck. The rosewood fingerboard looks like Brazilian, but we called Fender and they said that it isn't. The back of the neck is satin finished, and lightly so. It has a soft V like shape that is perfect.
Frets show basically no wear at all.
The original case holds the certificate of authenticity and the bag of goodies that left the factory with the guitar.
