Fender 1959 Champ 5F1 Tweed Amp, 100% Original, Near Mint

No sales tax for US customers outside California.

This Fender 1959 Champ 5F1 in tweed is in near mint condition.  The amp came to us at it sits - untouched and all-original.  I figured I would keep it that way in case the new owner wants to stash it as a time capsule.  If you want to use it I recommend having it serviced.  I could update the power cable and do a cap job, replacing only what is completely necessary, sor an additional $100.  I have not turned it on.

This roughly 5-watt amp has an 8" Oxford 8 EV speaker (manufacturer code 465, date code 847, cone code P3780) behind an oxblood grille, a leather handle, and a tube lineup of an RCA 5Y3 rectifier, an RCA 6V6 power tube, and a Tung Sol 12AX7 preamp tube. The cabinet, grille, baffle, chassis, and speaker all rate near mint, and the chassis still has its Lupe tape intact.

Everything is original: tweed covering, cabinet, grille, baffle, chassis, knobs, leather handle, speaker and cone, potentiometers, filter caps, and power cable. The Triad power transformer (660, date code 847) and output transformer (model 106) are original too. There are no cabinet, baffle, chassis, or internal repairs. It comes with a tube chart. No case or cover or accessories are included.
