This Ampeg 1965 Portaflex B-15-N-C 1x15 in blue checkered vinyl is in excellent condition.  The circuit is all original and the original CTS speaker has been reconed.  It sounds exceptionally good!

The B-15-N-C is a flip-top bass amp that also works really well for guitar, running 25 watts through a single 15" speaker. The cabinet and baffle are constructed from marine/birch plywood. Power comes from two 6L6 output tubes, a 5AR4 rectifier, and three 6SL7 preamp tubes. The cabinet measures 21" wide x 21-1/8" tall x 14-1/4" deep and weighs 69 lbs 8 oz.

The cabinet, baffle, chassis, knobs, potentiometers, filter caps, power transformer, and output transformer are all original. The grille is a reproduction blue-grey sparkle weave, and the handle is a reproduction leather unit.  There are no chassis repairs or modifications. The power cable is hard-wired and grounded. Filter caps are original. Preamp tubes are Tung Sol 6SL7; power tubes are JJ 6L6; rectifier tube brand is unknown. Cabinet, baffle, chassis, and grille are each in excellent condition.
