This 1964 Fender Mustang / Duo-Sonic bridge pickup is in excellent condition.

This is a Pre-CBS black-bottom pickup, with the original flatwork, magnets, and bottom plate intact — the black bottom confirming 1964 production, an important detail for serious Mustang and Duo-Sonic restorers. The pickup was professionally rewound by Tom Brantley, one of the most respected vintage pickup rewinders working today, known for his period-correct approach to Fender pickups of the 1950s and 1960s. Brantley's rewind uses correct wire gauge, wind count, and technique, restoring the pickup to proper specification. It reads 5.84k, right where these pickups should be for the bright, clear, snappy single-coil character Mustang and Duo-Sonic players and collectors are after. Ready to install.
