This 1964 Fender Mustang / Duo-Sonic bridge pickup is in excellent condition.

This original black-bottom bobbin — the correct dating detail for 1964 Mustang and Duo-Sonic production — was professionally rewound by Tom Brantley, one of the most respected vintage pickup rewinders working today, known for his period-correct approach to Fender pickups of the 1950s and 1960s. The original flatwork, magnets, and bottom plate are all intact; only the winding is fresh, using period-correct wire gauge, wind count, and technique. At 5.84k it reads right where these pickups should, delivering the bright, clear, snappy single-coil character that players and collectors prize in Mustang and Duo-Sonic bridges. Ready to install.
