This 1966 Fender Mustang / Duo-Sonic neck pickup is in excellent condition.

This pickup arrived DOA and was professionally rewound by Tom Brantley, one of the most respected vintage pickup rewinders working today. Brantley is known for his period-correct approach to Fender restoration — using correct wire gauge, wind count, and technique on the original bobbin and flatwork — so the physical structure of the pickup remains intact and period-correct, with fresh winding that restores it to correct specification. It reads 5.86k ohms, right where it should be for the bright, clear, articulate neck tone these pickups are known for. We also have a matching 1964 Brantley-rewound bridge pickup listed separately, reading 5.84k — together they make a well-matched pair for a period-correct Mustang or Duo-Sonic build. Ready to install.
