5.96k Ohms.  12" lead wire.

A genuine 1970s Gibson mini humbucker in black — neck position, new old stock, never installed, with the original mounting rings, screws, and springs. Reading 5.96k on a 12" lead, this is correct and typical for a period Gibson neck mini humbucker. The mini humbucker was Gibson's answer to the PAF-era full-size humbucker — smaller footprint, brighter and more articulate top end, with a single-coil clarity in the midrange that full-size humbuckers don't produce. Used on the SG Special, Les Paul Deluxe, and other Gibson models of the era, the 1970s mini humbucker in excellent condition with its complete hardware is exactly what restorers, builders, and tone-chasers are looking for. Black cover, complete mounting package, ready to install.

Excerpts from real online end-user reviews:

"The mini humbuckers are warm and woody with an articulate top end." - EverythingSG.com

"The mini hums do good clean tones and take gain really well." - MusicStore.com
