Here's a rare one for ya!  A beautiful, lightweight (7 pounds, 7 ounces) Fender Telecaster in the custom color - Firemist Gold.

The guitar is all original with no issues, changes or repairs - no excuses! 

On our site we prefer to show you everything right up front, where other dealers post four or five pictures, leaving you to wonder what's under the hood.  As you can see, the neck date, pot dates, neck pocket stamps, and the way the finish lays in the cavities - this baby is all original and is just as clean a Tele you can expect to find.

Custom color Telecasters in this era are rare and there are enough previously sold examples out there for you to be able to see what the market has accepted as a value for a killer guitar like this one.

The original case is included.  A previous owner included a period-looking, metallic gold strap, the original cable that came with the guitar, and the Fender owner's manual / instruction envelope.

We love the pickups in the guitars from this period.  They've got their own character, being that they aren't wax potted.  They have an open character to them that is hard to describe - they just sound great.

This example presents in excellent vintage condition, with light wear and some finish checking. It resonates wonderfully, plays effortlessly, and stands as both a serious player’s instrument and a highly collectible custom-color Fender from a desirable period.

There are multiple shipping cost options for purchases made on our site.  Select Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Air Saver.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for Eastern states - customers from any state that is more than a 3 day UPS ground shipment from our shop will get their shipment via UPS 3 day air.  Otherwise, ground shipping will be used.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
