The great thing about a more recent Gretsch versus a vintage one is that they play so well.  Of course the vintage examples are amazing, but they are quirky.  If you want one to play regularly, this is the way to go.

Furthermore, the guitar is super clean and all original, including the original case and paperwork.  There are no repairs, changes or issues.  Frets show little use.  The truss rod has been checked to make sure there is room for future adjustment.

Some signs of use here and there.  See the pictures for detail.

From the web:

This is the very cool Gretsch G6136DC White Falcon. The G6136DC recreates the look and feel of the 1962 Falcon. By ‘62 many Gretsch guitar models adopted their new “Electrotone” body, and the Falcon was no exception. The G6136DC is a thinner double cutaway version of the G6136T. The guitar features 1959 style Trestle bracing that gives the guitar some semi hollow body characteristics but it still retains the classic Gretsch hollow body vibe. The Trestle Bracing adds sustain and increased feedback rejection. There is no mute system on the guitar like the G6122-1962 Country Gentleman so the back pad on this Falcon is purely cosmetic but adds a really nice touch! The FilterTron's are excellent pickups that have a big round bass response and very clean and articulate high end while retaining authentic vintage character.

From Gretsch:

One of the most beautiful Gretsch® guitars ever made-a 1962 ad called it "the ultimate guitar." The equally beautiful modern version has a double-cutaway hollow body with an arched top, parallel tone bar bracing, oversized bound f holes and gold-sparkle binding. Other features include two-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard with gold-sparkle binding and Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, V-shaped Falcon headstock with gold-sparkle binding and horizontal gold-sparkle Gretsch logo inlay, dual High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups, three-position pickup switch, three-position master tone switch, standby switch, gold plexi pickguard with Falcon motif, gold-plated hardware, Grover Imperial tuners, white back pad, Space Control bridge and Bigsby B6G vibrato tailpiece.

The Professional Collection by Gretsch offers the absolute highest standard for the discriminating Professional player. Gretsch has spared no expense to both recreate the sound and feel of their original electric guitars of the 50's and 60's and to offer models with more modern advancements. With dozens of different models and variations to choose from, there truly is a Gretsch for every playing style from traditional Chet Atkin's style finger picking to hard driving Rock & Roll and beyond! With the Professional Collection, You can certainly have your Grandpa's Gretsch recreated with stunning authenticity, but you can also have a guitar that exceeds all standards of modern precision guitar building!
