We sold this amp to a good customer about two months ago and just traded it back in towards some vintage gear.  I have several on order, but they won't be here until the fall, so it is good to have one in the shop!  I love the flexibility of this amp, and it really filled a spot in the Two-Rock line as a more affordable, two-channel amp.  The amp looks new and will be shipped in the original boxes.

Two Rock's Studio Overdrive is a hand-wired, all-tube design built around a 6L6-family power section — in this case a pair of JJ 5881s running 35 watts into the matching Two Rock TR12 speaker. The combination of multi-ply birch cabinetry, a voiced clean-to-crunch preamp topology, and Two Rock's proprietary output and power transformers produces the tight low end, extended clean headroom, and articulate breakup the brand is known for. This is a matched head and 1x12 cabinet set in excellent condition throughout.

Two Rock has been building hand-wired boutique amplifiers in Cotati, California since the late 1990s, and the Studio Overdrive sits at the core of their lineup — a professional-grade, medium-power amp designed to cover the spectrum from clean to driven tones without external gain staging. At 35 watts it is usable at real-world volumes without sacrificing the circuit's dynamic response. The all-birch cabinet construction, leather handle, and black tolex covering with black and silver weave grille are standard to the production spec. Both transformers are Two Rock-manufactured originals. The four JJ 12AX7 preamp tubes and two JJ 5881 power tubes are installed and functional. A footswitch and speaker cable are included, along with Two Rock documentation.

Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely. If there is damage, retain all packing materials intact, photograph them immediately, and send the photos to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.

Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. Vintage amplifiers (20 years or older) are sold as-is — all amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
