MJT 2010 Relic Strat Parts-Caster Olympic White Relic w/Mono Gig Bag, Very Good

This MJT Relic Strat Parts-Caster in Olympic White is in very good condition.  This is a great player's guitar that you can play, alter, whatever you want - with no worry of putting wear or making changes to a vintage or collectable guitar while getting a cool vintage look.

The body is MJT-built alder with a stamped date of 3-10, pointing to a March 2010 build. The relic finish is original to the body and presents very well in Olympic White. The neck sports a thick C profile in maple with a rosewood fretboard, 9.5" radius, and 21 frets — a familiar Strat-spec setup that plays along with the American Standard hardware throughout. The chrome output jack plate carries some relic aging consistent with the overall aesthetic.

On the non-original side: the tuners have been swapped and the headstock shows visible holes from the previous set — see the pics for details. The tuner screws are also not original. It is hard to say on a guitar like this if anything else is original to the guitar or not, and I'm not sure it matters because anyone can either play this guitar as it is or continue to customize it to taste.  The pickups are 90s or 2000s Fender American Standard single-coil pickups. Those pickups read 6.37k (neck), 6.45k (middle), and 7.16k (bridge).  After our setup they balance well and sound quite good.  The switch and pots are good quality parts.  There are no repairs to the neck, nut, fretboard, or body. Fretboard shows some chips at both ends (see pics) and the rear strap button is installed slightly off-center (see pic).  The frets are full and in nice shape  When the guitar arrived here it didn't play very well at all, but Dana (our setup guy) nailed it, and there is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.

Comes with a Mono gig bag in excellent condition. No documentation or additional accessories included.
