This Mesa Boogie Triple Crown TC-100 is in near mint condition. It came to us in the original shipping box. The original cover had never been opened. It is clear that this amp saw little use before showing up here. We still tested all the tubes, and I am glad we do this because one power tube did not pass, so I put a new Svetlana quad of tubes in. The original tube was probably bad on arrival when the original owner bought it.
If you like this head, you should check out the oversized, Vintage-30 loaded Mesa Rectifier 4x12 cabinet that came in with it.
This amazingly flexible amp is a monster, but you can tame it too. It is a three-channel, all-tube head built around four EL34 power tubes running Class AB, and that combination — EL34s in a Mesa circuit — produces tight, harmonically dense overdrive with a firm low end and pronounced midrange presence. Each channel has its own independent Multi-Soak power attenuation, switchable between 100W, 50W, 20W, 7W, and 3W, making it practical at rehearsal volumes without routing through an external attenuator.
No repairs, no modifications, no issues to report. Cabinet is Baltic birch in excellent condition with original black vinyl covering. Chassis is aluminum, original, and in excellent condition. All knobs, potentiometers, and filter caps are original. Power tubes are Svetlana EL34s; preamp tubes are Mesa-branded 12AX7 and 12AT7. Onboard reverb tank is original. Output transformer manufacturer is unidentified. No documentation is included.

Shipping Policy
By completing your purchase you are agreeing to this shipping policy. Shipments require signature on delivery, no exceptions. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely. If there is damage, retain all packing materials intact, photograph them immediately, and send the photos to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. Vintage amplifiers (20 years or older) are sold as-is — all amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
