Grover's 502N Rotogrip locking tuners are a well-regarded solution for players who want improved tuning stability without a dramatic hardware overhaul. The locking mechanism clamps string ends at the post, eliminating the primary source of tuning drift at the headstock. These are finished in nickel, which reads warmer and less clinical than chrome and coordinates well with vintage-style hardware. This set is in excellent condition.  They were installed on a 2020 Les Paul that we bought.  We put the original tuners back on and are selling these.  They show little use.

The 502N is part of Grover's Rotogrip series, which applies the company's long-standing Rotomatic button and gear housing to a locking post design. Grover has manufactured tuning machines in the United States since 1905, and the Rotomatic line has been a standard in the industry for decades. The 502N uses an 18:1 gear ratio, which provides fine-tuned control over pitch during tuning. These are a direct fit for many guitars already drilled for standard Rotomatic-style machines, making them a practical upgrade with minimal modification. The nickel finish is appropriate for vintage-correct and vintage-adjacent builds.

We see no functional or cosmetic issues to report. The set is in excellent condition with no visible damage, corrosion, or wear noted. No guitar or case is included — this listing is for the tuner set only.
