Gibson ES-330 Sunburst 1966 All Original Factory Bigsby

This 1966 Gibson ES-330 in Sunburst is a rare, all-original example outfitted from the factory with a Bigsby vibrato—an exceptionally cool and highly desirable configuration.

Light, lively, and unmistakably vintage, this ES-330 delivers the open, woody resonance that only a fully hollow Gibson can provide, with the added expressive shimmer of a factory-installed Bigsby.

This one has everything you want!  The sunburst is particularly cool and there's perfect checking throughout.  There are no changes, no repairs, and no issues.  The neck is straight and there is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.  The original frets show some wear, and the guitar shows enough to make you feel comfortable busting the guitar out regularly but it is clean enough to look really impressive in person.  The case is a modern hardshell.

There is just one oddity: the switch was wired backwards at the factory!  When it is flipped towards the strings, the bridge pickup is active, and when it is flipped away from the strings you get the neck pickup.  I looked over all the solders, and this is definitely the way it left the factory.

The thinline hollowbody construction gives this guitar an immediate acoustic response that translates beautifully when amplified. These are great couch guitars - they're loud enough to slouch around and comfortably play with some cool acoustic tone. The P-90 pickups offer clarity, warmth, and bite in equal measure, excelling at everything from articulate jazz and soulful blues to early rock and roots-driven styles.
