Fender 1967 Princeton Reverb Vintage Black Panel Amp, Excellent

This Fender 1967 Princeton Reverb in black is in excellent condition.  The amp is nice and clean and I performed responsible service so it runs at its best, prepping it for decades of continued service.

The Princeton Reverb is currently the most desired Fender amp, perhaps the most desired vintage amp period.  It has something to offer for most players: 12-watt black panel amp with onboard reverb and vibrato, a 10" Jensen speaker (code 220, date code 617), and a silver sparkle grille. It measures 20" wide by 16" high by 9.5" deep and weighs 30 lbs. I'm not sure, but the tubes might be original to the amp.  I've never seen this brand in a vintage Fender, but I did see them hop around some as supplies were available.  All the tubes are labeled DuMont: GZ34 rectifier, two 6V6 power tubes, and a 12AT7 plus three 12AX7 preamp tubes.  I tested all the tubes, and the DuMont 12AT7 was worn, so I put a Sylvania tube in that position and will send the original with the amp.

The pedal that comes with it is likely not original with its silver housing, but it could be.  All the electrolytic caps have been updated, including the filter cap can.  This saves you some good money compared to having this work done after a purchase.  The power cable is hard wired and grounded. Everything else is original: the black tolex, cabinet, baffle, chassis, knobs, rubber handle, speaker and cone, reverb tank, potentiometers, and the Schumacher power, output, and reverb transformers. There are no cabinet, baffle, or chassis repairs. The grille rates very good, while the cabinet, baffle, chassis, and speaker rate excellent.
