The B124RH and B122RH designations refer to the EMG 25k push-pull pot harness components — the resistance and taper values specifically voiced to work within EMG's active circuit system. Using EMG's own pots and harness keeps the active preamp operating within its intended impedance range, which matters for maintaining the pickup's designed response.
