Squier Fender Classic Vibe Starcaster 2023 Semi-Hollow Guitar

The 2023 Squier Fender Starcaster brings back one of Fender’s most unique offset semi-hollow designs, originally introduced in the 1970s. With its distinctive offset double-cutaway body, center block construction, and bound maple neck with a large headstock, the Starcaster delivers both visual flair and tonal versatility. This modern reissue features dual humbuckers, a comfortable “C” profile neck, and a semi-hollow maple body that produces warm resonance with excellent sustain and clarity.

This example is in excellent condition with very minimal playwear and no measurable fret wear. The previous owner said he had previously installed the newer, CuNiFe Fender reissue humbuckers, then he reinstalled the original pickups.  He didn't do a very good wiring job, so we went through his work to clean it up.  Everything now works just as it should.

We also gave the guitar a setup with new strings.  There is no case, but we will double box the guitar for safe shipment. 

Players appreciate the Starcaster for its ability to cover indie rock, jazz, blues, and alternative styles while offering something visually different from traditional Gibson or Fender semi-hollows.

The original Fender Starcaster debuted in the mid-1970s and has been used by players like Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead and Dave Keuning of The Killers. A cult favorite, it has seen renewed popularity thanks to modern reissues by Squier and Fender.
