This Tone Tubby TTOR12A8 Organic Alnico 12" speaker has barely been used.  Rated at 30 watts, 8 ohms nominal, dated March 10, 2015. Measured DC resistance is 6.5 ohms, correct for an 8-ohm rated speaker.

Tone Tubby speakers are built in Portland, Oregon using hemp cone construction — a natural fiber that Tone Tubby and its advocates describe as producing a warmer, more natural break-up character than standard paper cones, with a smoother high-frequency response and a woody midrange quality that pairs particularly well with vintage and boutique all-tube amplifiers.

The Alnico magnet configuration contributes the bloom and dynamic sensitivity that distinguishes Alnico from ceramic-magnet alternatives — more responsive to pick attack, with a softer, more complex compression character as the speaker is pushed. The Creamback voicing specifically targets warm midrange presence and smooth top-end character rather than the scooped, hi-fi response of more modern speaker designs. At 6 lbs 12 oz this is a moderately weighted 12" speaker. Excellent cone condition, ready to install.
