This 2011 Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour NOS Stratocaster is the New Old Stock (non-relic) edition of one of the most historically significant signature guitars ever produced. Crafted in close collaboration with David Gilmour and his longtime technician Phil Taylor, this NOS model recreates the legendary “Black Strat” with a pristine, factory-new appearance while retaining every tonal and structural detail of the original.

This is one of the best feeling and sounding Fender Custom Shop guitars I've ever played.  I know, this statement is made everywhere, all the time, but if you read my product descriptions you'll see that I reserve it for when it is true.  

The alder body is finished in deep, glossy black nitro lacquer, paired with a comfortable one-piece maple neck modeled after Gilmour’s favored profile. Electronics include a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 in the bridge and Fender Custom Shop single coils in the neck and middle, along with the famous mini-toggle switch that activates neck/bridge and all-three pickup combinations—central to the expressive tones heard on Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, and The Wall.

This example is in excellent, collector-grade condition and includes the original hardshell case, COA, cable, Gilmour booklet, and all Custom Shop accessories.

The guitar shows light signs of use and remains in what I would call Near Mint condition.  There are no changes, repairs, or issues whatsoever.

Shipping policy:

There are multiple shipping cost options for purchases made on our site.  Select Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Air Saver.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
