This 2025 Danocaster Singlecut Tele Custom is a boutique, hand-built take on the classic single-cut T-style formula, executed with the kind of feel, tone, and detail that has made Dan Strain's Danocaster guitars a favorite among players who care about authenticity and performance.  

Built with a resonant ash body and loaded with Budz pickups, this guitar delivers vintage-correct character with modern reliability and consistency.  The weight is perfect at 6 pounds, 10 ounces.

This example is as-new and plays effortlessly with the kind of resonance and immediacy you expect from a great boutique build. It’s a guitar that feels alive in your hands and excels in everything from country and blues to rock and roots music.  I obtained it in a trade with Dan towards a vintage amp.  It is new.  

Dan's neck treatment makes it feel like a 50s guitar that has been played for decades.  Nobody does it like him!  At .84" thick at the 1st fret, this is more of a medium neck profile.

The original gig bag and hang tag with specs are included.

The ash body provides snap, clarity, and a lively acoustic response, translating into a punchy, articulate amplified tone with plenty of twang and authority. The Budz pickups are known for their balanced output, rich harmonic content, and dynamic response, offering everything from sparkling, three-dimensional cleans to gritty, edge-of-breakup drive that reacts beautifully to pick attack and volume knob changes.

Shipping policy:

There are multiple shipping cost options for purchases made on our site.  Select Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Air Saver.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for Eastern states - customers from any state that is more than a 3 day UPS ground shipment from our shop will get their shipment via UPS 3 day air.  Otherwise, ground shipping will be used.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
