This example is in excellent, lightly used condition. It presents well with no functional issues noted.

The EMG-HZ series was developed as EMG's passive line, targeting players who wanted a more organic, dynamic response than active pickups provide while retaining the refined construction and shielded design that EMG is known for. The H3 specifically is a full-size humbucker voiced for warmth with enough clarity to work across clean and driven applications. It is a practical, well-regarded aftermarket option for retrofits and builds alike. The HZ line has been widely used in both OEM guitar manufacturing and the aftermarket parts market for decades.

We have no specific condition issues to report on this pickup. It is lightly used and presents in excellent shape. No documentation or accessories are included beyond what is pictured.
