This 2018 Gibson Memphis Big Block Retro ES-335 is a stunning and limited-production model, finished in the rare Emerald Green Metallic and loaded with Seth Lover humbuckers—one of the most musical PAF-style pickups ever made. The original owner changed the pickups out and found the Seth Lovers to be smoother and overall just better sounding pickups, but the originals are included in case you want to find out for yourself.

There are no other changes, no repairs, and no issues.  Setup was quick and easy and there is room to adjust the bridge or truss rod in the future.  The original case and paperwork is included and the guitar is in beautiful shape.

Combining the timeless ES-335 semi-hollow design with bold mid-century “big block” fingerboard inlays, this Retro edition has a uniquely elegant visual identity while still delivering the open, warm, articulate tone the 335 is famous for.

The laminated maple/poplar body provides the perfect blend of resonance and feedback resistance, while the quartersawn mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard offer smooth, comfortable playability. The Seth Lover pickups bring airy highs, rich low-end warmth, and a dynamic, harmonically complex response that suits blues, jazz, rock, and soul. This example is in excellent condition and remains all original—a standout limited run model from the Memphis factory’s final years.
