This 1962 Fender Vibrolux is unbelievably clean, and it sounds even better than it looks.
I've found that the brown Vibrolux to be the best selling amp of the era. They always fly out of the shop.
This is just about the perfect circuit, producing approximately 30 watts of rich, dynamic power through a single 12" speaker. The brown panel Vibrolux delivers warm cleans, creamy overdrive, and lush bias-modulated tremolo—hallmarks of early '60s Fender amps.
This example includes the original transformers and has seen beneficial service. The filter caps, bypass caps, and bias cap were all updated prior to the amp's arrival here. The power cable was swapped out for a grounded one. The cable's strain relief is not original. The handle is original. Two knobs appear to be reproduction parts.
The speaker is a Gold alnico Celestion. It is an amazing sounding speaker that compliments the amp very well.
This is a showpiece that you'll love to play.

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping. These cases result in multiple box shipments, and they require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery. We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure. Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently. Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping. We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
