This 2008 Orange Rockerverb 100 MKI head is a mint-condition example of one of the most iconic modern tube amplifiers in rock history. The MKI version helped establish Orange as a leader in boutique-grade, high-gain British tone. Powered by four EL34 tubes and delivering 100 watts, it combines thick, saturated distortion, articulate midrange, and surprisingly lush, high-headroom cleans. The tube-driven spring reverb and fully buffered effects loop make it equally at home on stage and in the studio.

Unlike later MKII or MKIII models, the MKI features a darker, thicker gain structure and slightly grittier cleans, preferred by players chasing the original Rockerverb character. This amp delivers singing sustain, punchy low end, and harmonic bloom—ideal for rock, metal, doom, alternative, and worship tones.

Also, you can swap power tubes from EL34s.  The amp can also operate on 6CA7s, KT88s, 6550s, or 6L6s.  We tested the tubes that are currently in the amp and gave it several test runs - it sounds amazing!

When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  These cases require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently.  Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping.  We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
