This 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard R9 from the Custom Shop is a remarkable recreation of the legendary 1959 Les Paul Standard—the most iconic solidbody electric guitar ever made. Built during one of Gibson’s most celebrated Custom Shop production years, this R9 features an exquisitely figured carved maple top over a lightweight mahogany body, delivering exceptional resonance and sustain.

The guitar is all original and is pretty much mint - it looks untouched, and was part of a collection in which all the guitars were similarly cared for.  There are no changes, repairs, or issues.  It set up perfectly for us with room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments. 

The top is gorgeous.  The weight is on the reasonable side at 8 pounds, 12.5 ounces.

The original Gibson Custom Shop brown Lifton-style case and goodies - even the original cable, but the certificate of authenticity was lost.

There are multiple shipping cost options for purchases made on our site.  Select Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Air Saver.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
